Dr. Robert Nelson is a musician, writer, educator, and the Executive Director of the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. His music blends the rich textures of jazz, the emotional depth of soul, and the storytelling traditions of American music. His smooth vocal style and commanding stage presence reflect a deep reverence for the classic sounds that have shaped American culture. Dr. Nelson has performed at renowned venues across the country, including the historic Apollo Theater in New York City.

In addition to his work as a performer and songwriter, Dr. Nelson has an extensive background in the music industry, having worked in New York for Epic Records, Sony Records, and Jive Records.
